About

Hi, I’m Clementine Macri.

I became a company member of Children’s Shakespeare Theatre when I was 9 and for the past 9 years I have used it to express myself in a way that I did not get to in my everyday life. Playing roles in Macbeth, King Lear, Merchant of Venice, Hamlet and more, have taught me an appreciation for the arts and literature, and brought me to a community of like minded, accepting and creative people.

My goal for Bridge to the Bard is to make Shakespeare and the magic of theater accessible to all children. Not all youth have access to Shakespeare and I hope to help address that gap by offering free and FUN resources here and a limited number of free workshops in the tri-state area. These workshops are bringing Shakespeare to underserved communities with diverse populations.

We are building a bridge to the Bard for all children and I invite you to bring this special magic to youth in your community or your own children through all the wonderful , easy to implement, FREE resources that I offer.
